Running errands with the Missus today. I saw the tall buildings in Virginia Beach's Town Center area, brightly lit against a completely clear, cloudless sky. Of course I grabbed some shots! This one is the mixed-use building (retail, offices, apartments) at 222 Central Park Ave.
But the picture as it came out of the camera was kind of meh. Crystal clear and tack sharp with perfect sky...it still didn't do anything for me. It was two-dimensional and lifeless. I played around in PS and settled on changing it to black and white, with the blue tones heavily darkened. I like this one much better than. the original, which is over on my Eclectica Album.
