After yesterday's failed attempt at capturing the moonrise, the Missus and I returned to Sandbridge Beach (yes, we made the arduous 20 minute trip again) to watch the fully full moon come up. The October full moon is the Hunter's Moon.
Since the sun set a few minutes earlier than yesterday and the Moon rose many minutes later, the moon was visible from the moment it peeked over the horizon. I fiddled and futzed with the focus so as not to waste another batch of shots and got it after just a few seconds...but the moon really races around in the sky so it was 80% up by the time I got it right.
