There are a pair of female wild turkeys living in the woods adjacent to the Chesterfield County Airport. I've seen them several times but usually while I am driving and they are just far enough into the woods that a good picture isn't possible. Today, they were in a grassy area outside the woods, right next to runway three three. There is a rise next to the field, concealing the road and allowing me to park. The girls weren't overly concerned when they did see me and they posed nicely. I have another picture of the same bird in my 365 album.
