The great blue heron from my Low-Flying GBH II picture from today flew over or nearly over a red-winged blackbird nest. It came under immediate, aggressive, and relentless attack by the male RWB. The slow, lumbering heron had to make a couple of evasive maneuvers to avoid being injured by the quick and nimble blackbird before exiting the blackbird's self-designated territory.
