We had a wonderful hike at Twin Falls this morning. There is a bridge between the two waterfalls...it was pretty amazing. This was the shorter of the two.
I dream of someday getting a good long exposure waterfall shot, but have not had an opportunity. The falls always seem to be at the end of hikes and I just can't handle bringing my tripod with a 3 year old and 1 year old in tow...it's just too much. I'm also always reminded on days like this that I am a portrait, not landscape photographer, but I suppose I won't get better without practice, right? :)
I love the depth to this. Looks like a great hike. I agree, hiking with small children really puts me off lugging extra camera gear around too. It will get easier as they get older though :)
Super shot, you could always put the camera down on a bag, sweat shirt etc. Have a cable release and away you go. Just have to keep little fingers away from it!!!
Welcome back! I remember you, I must have followed you back then too. I've just returned as well and I think we are neighbors now! I'm in Kirkland.
And, I don't know what you are talking about. This is a wonderful shot! I love the atmosphere.
@threetimesten No way, I'm in Kirkland too! We will have to get together for a shoot sometime. Are you going to the Seattle meet-up? There was a discussion started about it the other day...
Thanks so much for the comment and follow!
@padlock Thanks! I have thought of setting it on something but it seems to never really be the right spot/angle. Hopefully I will be able to get one soon...somehow!
@tina_mac I can't. Unfortunately, my children have football and soccer games that morning. I could tell we were close as I recognized some of the places in your pictures.
