At the end of the railway platform to deter trespassers. I liked the way they trapped fallen leaves, twigs etc.

@wakelys Ah, I was near the end of the platform because, when I go to Lichfield, I like to get on the last carriage as it ends up nearest the exit of the station at the other end. There’s some logic in my madness.
