After the rain

Today I’m just pottering around the house and garden and didn’t think I’d get much chance for a photo, but then the sun came out after the rain and I spotted the droplets on this pretty purple Heuchera.

What a great shot, the water droplets look so defined and the detailed veins on the leaves are fabulous.

This is really pretty- I'd call it a "natural abstract" the way the droplets are accentuated on the leaves.

I can always recognise a fellow Brummie and have just seen your photo taken in Sutton Park 🤗 lived most of my married life about a mile from Mere Green just of the Lichfield Road, moved a little further down the road to Lichfield after my husband died, but for the last 13yrs have lived on the Isle of Wight. We Midlander's do love the sea.

Amazing, we lived on Haycroft Drive, when we moved there in early 1977 the area around Blake Street and beyond the garden centre was farmland.

@chrisiow It still is all farmland Chris. I love where I live. Was there a BMW showroom on the corner of Lichfield Road and Hill Hook Road when you were there?
