Spider time of year

I was sitting in our summer house yesterday, relishing the last few sunny days, when I spotted this spider outside. I played with different focus, exposure etc on the spider, but it was only when I went to B&W that the web really revealed itself.

This is great! I like the spiders similarity in shape to the plant, he looks like part of it and the web looks fab against the dark wall.

Nice capture, not too keen on the web inhabitant! There are a lot about at the moment & they are so big!
