Cyclists

The lanes around here are fairly flat and are therefore often used by cyclists. Whenever a group of cyclists comes towards me on my walks, the lead usually shouts “WALKER” to alert his group. I always smile at this as it makes me feel like a zombie from The Walking Dead 🧟‍♀️

A nice quiet stretch, nice capture, when we go out around our country roads we usually end up behind a tractor, herd of sheep or a fashion model on a bike, no one ever just goes out for a peddle anymore, they have to have ‘the gear’ and the bike to go with it!!

Well trained & obliging cyclists, I have never heard a cyclist shout Walker yet, they usually creep up behind you & you get a fright!

@craftymeg Haha yes tractors and other farm machinery here too, although I was glad of them in these lanes as there was no ice in their tracks, so I made use of them.
