Mystery plant

Near where we live is a field-sized patch of grass, which is well used by locals and maintained by the council. On it there are three large patches planted with daffodils. When the daffodils finish flowering, a few strange but beautiful purple flowers appear. I’ve tried various plant identifiers and they say it is not a British plant, and direct me to world plant sites which identify it as Camassia leichtlinii. Does anyone know this plant?
I agree that it is a Camassia or Wild Hyacinth. Lovely pov.

It is so pretty. I love how there is always someone on 365 to identify flowers for us.
