GPO marker

I regularly pass this old metal marker when out on my walks and always wonder about it. Turns out it’s around 100 years old, from the reign of George V.

There seem to be a missing plate with numbers on it, probably showing the distance from something. Nice find!

@okvalle Apparently the numbers often fall off. If I was keen I could take a spade next time and dig around the base 😊
