A day in Brum

I spent the day in the city centre today with my youngest. It’s so sad to see that even there so many stores are closing. These were on the boards covering what used to be our Debenhams. At least they are trying to make the hoardings interesting.

Debenhams is a big loss to towns & cities, they are so large that they are so conspicuous when empty!

A great sighting, but, yes, the pandemic has been so hard on small (and even large) businesses. Many have been closing here, too.
