EOTB-128

I found a new path on today’s walk. It crossed the Birmingham Cross-city railway line, so I found a hole in the fence and had a look. I have no idea what this spiky, metal semi-circle is for, but there was one on the other side too. Passers-by gave me some odd looks as I tried desperately to get a decent shot, but I didn’t care - I was determined 😁
Great capture. Only a 365’r would understand!

It's to stop people who break through a fence going on the line!!

I hope ordinary trespassers aren't as unknowing as you!

How strange but perhaps @30pics4jackiesdiamond has the answer but I wouldn’t have guessed!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond @happypat Thanks both. Still, it made for some nice shapes and patterns, imho.

@anniesue Thanks for that. I guess I just don’t have a criminal mind.

Great composition and pov. The only benefit of the pandemic is that we get to know our surroundings thoroughly.

@haskar Thank you very much. You are absolutely right. We’ve lived here 19 years and it has taken this pandemic for me to discover local country lanes, lakes, parks etc that I didn’t know existed.

That is really cool!

That spiky, metal semi-circle is for you to use as an excellent leading line down the track!
Excellent composition!
