Bags of books

My eldest daughter reads more than I do. She always has. Even as a child she terrified me as she often walked home from school reading. Unfortunately she lives 100 miles from me so we haven’t seen each other for months. Favourite books we post to each other, but it is expensive. This weekend we are allowed to meet them, outdoors, so we’re taking three big bags of my finished books to her.
Enjoy your meeting, I’m sure you will!

So good to be able to see each other and swap books.

It's terrible not to be able to see your family for such a long time, so enjoy your meet and happy reading

@carole_sandford Thanks Carol. I expect my little grandson will seem enormous!

@wakelys It really is. I’m glad to pass on these bags which have been taking up space, but I also know for sure that she’s likely to have a big batch for me 😁

@happypat Haha - I certainly would have been. ‘Time is a Killer’ was my last read - very twisty-turny plot.

How lovely you are able to meet with your daughter again. All our family are book readers. I tend to read biographies these days. My last two books were Flesh Wounds by Richard Glover and With My Little Eye by Sandra Hogan.

@onewing I do too so I will check those out. I really enjoyed recently Dear Tom by Tom Courtney and Just Kids by Patti Smith.
