COVID-safe birthday

We travelled to Thame in Oxfordshire to deliver the family’s presents to Orla, our eldest grandchild who was 7. It was a strange visit with us sitting in a gazebo in the garden with our masks and coats on (it was freezing) while we had a cup of tea, watching the girls through the open french windows, playing with the presents. I’d have given anything for a hug, but...
