Helen @helenhall challenged me this week for Get Pushed: "Can you take a single image that can be divided (into 3) and displayed as a triptych. Do you have editing software that will enable you to do this?"
I thought that this couldn't be so difficult, although I hadn't done it before. I thought that I could try it with Photoshop. But: I don't have any Photoshop skills at all. Please don't laugh, it took me about 40 minutes to do this first triptych.
Comments and suggestions are much appreciated!
Here are my get pushed-challenges
Update 05/2019: Year 3 begins! I'm living in Bremerhaven near the North Sea since October...
Now I read your account, I feel bad about the comments I put on the other one. But, well done for mastering the photoshop to create this. I really like it. Perhaps easier to divide than the other one because you don't have to worry about not cutting through components in half with your frame. Nothing to laugh at here, it is looking good. If you are going to try some more, why not create a layer in photoshop with the frame, then you can slot different pictures in under the frame and see which turn out the best?
@helenhall No, don't feel bad! I am so thankful for your detailed comments on how to improve. Now that I'm thinking about this picture, it would have been better to cut it so that the head in the background would be in one piece. And thanks, I'll try! As I wrote before, I never worked with Photoshop. This challenge brought me to do it.
@farmreporter thank you, Wendy!
