Forth Railway Bridge

The massive piers and spans of the railway bridge over the Firth of Forth. Borrowed from yesterday's collection.

Towering indeed, I've never seen it up so close - great shot!
You may have heard our saying 'it's like painting the Forth road bridge'... (meaning no sooner do you near the end you realise you've got another load to get through...) this is said bridge but they have found a new paint that lasts for years longer so I don't suppose you spotted anyone painting it today! :)

What a massive bridge and railway. I can see that it would take a long time to get it painted one end to the other, and then have to start over. Great POV on this.
