The MV Berlin

This little ship shared our pier yesterday but her history is a mystery. According to a fellow passenger was built in England about 1946. She saw service as a liner on the transatlantic run from Liverpool to Montreal. If my informant is correct that makes the ship over 70 years old.

She is operated by FTI Cruises GmbH. She is 139 m long, 17.5 m wide, a draft of 4.82 m and carries 412 passengers.

Many thanks for your visits, favs & comments.

Internet access is slow and expensive but I will try to maintain a daily journal where you can track our journey at http://201706artic.travellerspoint.com/
It is a really good looking ship, especially if it is 70 years old. Thanks for the information.

This looks great on black. The people on there look so small.
