Went down to an old fishing spot of mine and came across this Hornets Nest in an old tree, had to be very careful not to get stung, Out of 84 shots I got one Photo, all the fishermen were laughing at me as I tried to take the shots as the Hornets flew at me. Thank you all very much, Hornet stings are very painful and can kill if the rest of the nest attacks, I have just looked up about hornet sting and a Mother Aunt and six year old daughter were Killed in Borneo, the Mother was stung 50 times, a hornet can sting more than once.
Have to fab as I know how hard it is to photograph a hornets' nest! I took some shots of one a couple of years ago (desperate for my shot if the day!) and only found out later that they have a 'guard' and if you upset him he releases pheromones that make the colony attack!!
