P5250074r From raw

How can Raw be different then jpg shoot jpg + raw see main album for jpg ??? What the Heck!!
I'm guessing you had a 'picture style' dialled in which is why the colour balance is different on the JPEG - I like them both, but this one gets my Fav... 14 ducklings all bunched up together! By the way, if you had got rid of the stalk on the right, I would have given this two Favs ;-)

@vignouse Hi Richard it is not the color balance but the position of her head it is further around in the raw and covers the blue feathers. Really look like different photos but same number and no others. So how can that happen

Awesome pic!

I like the minimalism and how the water disappears. As to the difference, I'd say she ducked....

Very curious. But it's a lovely shot of mom and her babies either way!

Maybe @frankhymus can help solve this mystery.

That's quite the crew! Terrific capture.

@randystreat @tosee @vignouse If indeed Tom has not pulled a slick one over on us, the Olympus must take two different shots for raw + j[eg, they are clearly taken at different times, albeit a very short time apart. Apart from the duck's neck, the ripples are different and the babies are arranged slightly differently. Never heard of a camera that does that. I'd ask Olympus technical help line to explain it.

@tosee @frankhymus @randystreat I obviously didn't look closely enough at the two images, my eye was simply caught by the difference in colour balance - in my defence, it was 3am! I think Frank has the right answer and if these two images are SOOC it seems clear that the camera moved because the reed on the right is not in the same position in both shots... it's an odd one right enough.

Great capture, and this one is preferred by me.

Wow what a brood, lovely

Well that would puzzle me too, though perhaps @frankhymus has the right answer. I only ever set my camera on RAW so don't know if this happens on mine too. Anyway it's a great capture with all those ducklings so tightly packed together, and the mother looking round to check they're all still there. Fav.

Super shot, perhaps try looking on some olympus forums for an answer.
