Gerald and Maggie

Walking through the park I encountered Gerald and Maggie, so I stopped and talked with them. Maggie seems to be the apple of Gerald's eye.She was full of fun and joy, running sniffing and being friendly but not overly so; after all she is a 9yr old cocker spaniel. Decided it was time to start approaching strangers, ask if I can take their photo, and find a little about their story; will need to carry a note book

Happy "couple". I'm curious. If you're walking how do you approach stangers and ask them if they'll let you take a photo? Do you pose the shot?

@randystreat When someone has a dog it is easy. Everyone loves their dog so that makes a conversation easy. No I did not pose just let them interact and shot. The street people I have asked usually want to pose.
