We have a freeze warning so Pam picked what was ripe and covered the rest. She planted one butternut squash plant and it has taken over our yard climbed the fence into the neighbors yard, grown through our dogwood bush and into the strawberry patch. There are at least 10 to 12 more squash on the vine. When I say our I use the term loosely it is Pam's for she does the planting, watering,
and harvesting.
