Checking the Ice

He is measuring the thickness of the ice to see
if it is thick enough to put the ice fishing houses on the frozen lake and to drive one's truck onto the ice. It is only 2 and half inches thick, so not yet. They surely love the frozen lakes and ice fishing, every year some cars/trucks go through the ice, kerplunk, gurgle, gurgle !
