Path to the Falls

I took a lot of beautiful shots yesterday at this Conservation area, so will probably share a few over the next couple days. The trail back to the fall had a pretty layer of freshly fallen snow amongst the cedars. The sun was shining and the temperature was only about -10C. Looks really nice on black.

@mrslaloggie it is a soft black and white. Didn't want to go too black and make it scary because the setting was far from scary. It was serene and beautiful with all the fluffy snow.

I love the insulated silence that seems to fall over a scene like this. You feel so sheltered from the world when in a forest like this. Lovely place for a walk. I look forward to other photos from your stroll here.
