I love the varied lines created by trees. Here framed within the whole by the wheel of an old plough are two of my favourite trees - an Ironbark back on the ridge above the dam and a Blue Gum growing by the chook house. The first rays of sun lit the gum beautifully for me. Enjoy!
@sugarmole Thank you. It was early morning and the first rays of sunshine were just entering our valley and lit up the tree as if a flood light had been turned on.
@kkauter Twelve months ago it was very different...dry, dry, dry! I'm really enjoying the vibrant colurs that have followed our flooding rains here in Queensland this year.

@duwebb Thanks. I love colour. @cmuir1963 No storm. Actually that was quite a surprise. We live in a narrow valley and there should be a mountain in the distance but the light of early morning has made the sky and mountainrange blend into one. A beautiful colour isn't it?
