Foggy Morning by ubobohobo

Foggy Morning

A heavy fog blanketed the valley this morning and I snapped several shots worthy of sharing but I particularly liked this one because of what it is - a weed!
We each have a gift,a talent, a beauty to share - even this old garden weed. Look how its tiny seeds have captured and held the dew to remind me of the beautiful morning I experienced. And the shape, texture and colour of the buds contrast beautifully with the pure white sphere of seeds awaiting distribution by the wind as the day unfolds.
Love the focus on this! Very nice picture!

Love it! Weeds can be pretty too. =) The fact that it's a perfectly round circle is so cool to me. So often I see these and half of the white stuff has blown off. Nice job, love this one!

how gorgeous, a weed depends on where in the world you are, here lupins are considered a terrible pest and a weed. In UK my nana grew them and loved them! Your weed is beautiful!

@interludephotos Yes, to find the little ball of fluff all intact was quite a surprise.

@kaisisland No it is not thaw. The flower produces many tiny fluffy seeds that form a ball and the little white stems catch the wind and carry the seeds away on the breeze. In this shot dew has settled on each seed and, yes, it does make it look like frost.

@jenrobcarr @juliem @annielf @bill_d Thank you all. It is a popular kid's activity to bloww these balls and make a wish. I'll make a wish that we all continue to enjoy 365Project and make it to our goal of 365 snaps.
