The ingredients for an Apple, Rhubarb and Rosella Crumble that I made for a function we were catering for tonight...delicious dessert and a successful fund raiser.

Ooh - cool shot. We have apples and rhubarb for crumble too. Really should make it soon. I've never seen rosellas either - how do you use them?

@judithg Rosella is rather tart. I love it as a breakfast jam. In the crumble, it's main job is to colour the mixture a beautiful, pinky red.

@alia_801 Rosella's have many uses. My main use is jam but when the kids were smaller I made cordial and i sometimes use them in a relish. Their red colouring is quite strong in any mixture they are used in.
