The old pony like the rest of us is rugged up against the cold and showing his age. He's over thirty years old and lives in retirement "out the back". Once winter arrives, he presents himself morning and night at the fence for a slab of hay. You don't live as long as he has and not get to know the workings of the place!
He certainly has his winter woolies on, probably wishes he had more on this morning!
