Three Window Shades by ubobohobo

Three Window Shades

Our home began life as a three roomed soldier settler's house. An offical report in The Brisbane Courier Mail in August 1923 states, "The houses are perhaps rather small - three rooms and a kitchen fitted with a stove - but they meet the requirements of the early settler." The two windows to the right of the vertical pipe indicate how small. They show the width of the original "small" house. It took three of these little boxes to be bought and joined together as the disenchanted settlers left the settlement within a few short years, to make a home big enough to house a family in some comfort.

Gosh that's amazing. We saw an early settlers' cabin in Nevada and couldn't believe how small it was or that a whole family could live in it.
Love the patterns and colours in your shot :)
