This must be viewed large because once again my plans to upload a river landscape have been hijacked- not by a dragon this week but a snake. I had taken my planned river scene when I realized I was being watched by this water snake. As soon as my camera was focused on him he was off to hide under the same limb on which the dragon had sat last Monday. Who would have thought this possible? Same spot. Two different weeks. Two different reptiles.
Last Monday you did say 'I wonder what next week will bring' - now I am wondering what next Monday will bring! It certainly looks a long snake and what kind was it? The repitles are out and about after Winter - breeding and fattening up. A great shot - can't wait for next weeks capture by the creek.
No way....!!! I'm guessing this isn't as unusual for you as it would be for me... for a start your shot is in perfect focus whereas my camera would be slowly floating to the bottom as I ran away!
