Homecoming

Caught this rural image as we returned home from a belated Christmas visit to my brother-in-law's farm which is looking very lush after he too received some early summer rain. Feeling sorry for those further west who are still missing out.

What big beasts these are - brahman? Nice clear focus and the light is beautiful on their gleaming coats. Also love the iconic gum trees in the background and the line of purple flowers in the field! fav

Yes Maggie, brahams. Our next door neighbours cattle. The purple flowers cover the paddocks at this time of year and turn them into a sea of mauve.
