I enjoyed a most interesting day in a tourism "conversation with industry". Fired up by the inspirational speakers I paused to draw breath and reflect on the day at the Bush Camp Lookout on Awoonga Dam as I drove home. The light in our valley is just beautiful at this time of year. I never fail to enjoy this view and watching the birdlife relaxing and enjoying the water as the day rapidly draws to a close. No long twilights here. Come five o'clock and the sun just drops like a stone from the sky. No autumn leaves on the trees either but look at the lovely rich autumn tones of our grasses. I believe this is my favourite time of year.
