Union Jack by ubobohobo

Union Jack

My Google research says the Union Jack (Delias Mysis) is endemic to Australia and lives in the tropics north of Mackay but they've always lived around here which is further south than this claim. They are enjoying the freshness of my garden after watering. It is so dry beyond the garden fence.
I wonder how it's come to have the same name as the UK flag?

@cejaanderson @maggiemae These are plain white with a little black rim around the edge on top and apparently this brightly coloured underside view is supposed to look like a flag. Clearly our three great minds have all been unable to make this connection, lol
