Kekekekekekekekek!

A noisy chorus greeted me this morning from the bull paddock. Plovers (masked lapwings) had gathered to strut their stuff. With their ruffled feathers, puffed out chests and arched necks they seemed to be offering a challenge to each other.

@888rachel Yes and you can see the sharp spurs on several wings in this picture.
