I found it rather sobering to be celebrating our eldest brother's 80th Birthday and to have a niece explaining that she was, '"only inviting the oldies, you know Aunty Marg, your generation" to her daughter's wedding later in the year. We have definitely moved to the front row but I'm not going down with out a fight.
