I've ridden and walked for five days. The only tracks I saw yesterday were dingo tracks and still no water. The cattle I seek are beyond this ridge somewhere in the rugged Weitalabah National Park but where? It's too rugged beyond this point for me to go. Sadly, I'm done. The forest holds its secrets.
Oh what a pity Margaret, how come your property is not fenced in? Or did they find an escape route? Hoping that they find their way home, it must be quite a big loss :-(
@ludwigsdiana Yes it is fenced but they pushed out under a fence across a waterhole that had dried back tojust a puddle on the other side of the fence then when they were throughtey couldn't see the way back and when this water ran out they wandered off into the park in search of water.They appear to have hung around for a day or so but we were away for the weekend and didn't discover the situation until Monday. We seem to have been just a a day behind them all the time. Thanks for your concern.
