Dad's hat. For 19 years it has hung on the side board. Mum left it there for the six years between his death and hers and I've found no reason in the intervening years to remove it. So there it stays.
Well that’s being part of a loving family....I love that you keep it there, well done! We find comfort from these simple reminders & traditions & this has become a tradition...your kids will keep it there too no doubt!
@koalagardens@janeandcharlie@happypat It does all these things. I had a chuckle when I noticed someone has stuck a feather in the band- something Dad would not have done. I often say good morning to him and seek his advice...its a family tradition.
