I have been totally amazed by the amount of fruit produced by the carambola this winter. Our unusual rainfall for this time of year must have been a contributor. It has fed us, our family and friends and a host of insects, birds and flying foxes and yet the ground is still covered in fallen fruit at the end of the season.
