Nice group shot. I know what you mean a step to the left might have moved the plant just enough but at least you've recognised what you need to do, just need to action it now :-)
I still stop myself and look around the viewfinder carefully for stray poles out of heads etc.
What a cute little family scene, nice capture. I know what you mean, me too! It's hard to assess everything in that one moment and sometimes overthinking the shot is bad too! The fun of photography I guess!
