This is an installation at the Nature Boardwalk in Lincoln Park. The last time I was in this area of the lakefront this area was just a pond surrounded by pleasant but rather boring parkland. It has now been transformed into a natural landscape for native plants, birds, and insects. It was a lovely place to spend some time, an oasis in the city. This shot does not really show how beautiful the area is, but I liked how this capture turned out, and I am sure I will be back here again.
Sorry I have been absent for a few days, I am now about to try and catch up with you all.
@kchuk I have not been there since they did it. I will definitely go back it was so peaceful. There were a lot of people around and about, but it still felt so serene!
@andrewkru Thanks Andrew! I had lot of shots with people in it, but mostly in groups and climbing on it. I like your suggestion of someone walking through it.
@nrlong If you are coming to Chicago with your son this is right by the zoo (which is free to all). September is a great time to visit Chicago, the weather is good and the crowds have thinned out!
