Fallen

Just one simple leaf! As I look back over my project I realize this is not the first or second time that I have presented a solitary leaf as my project, so please forgive me for the repetition. My only excuse is that they make for a great subject especially when my time for photography is limited.

It may be one simple leaf, but it is like no other! Dare I mention it looks better large on black!

They definitely do make great subjects, I need to try it out before they go to mush! I like the texture of the wood and colour against the smooth yellow of the leaf.

Fave. I've seriously considered a "leaf of the day" project. But I see the best leaves when I'm on the mad dash from the bus to my office, and usually cannot stop.
