Even in the freezing cold you find people huddled and lurking outside buildings feeding their habit.

Really like this. Like how the shadows of the posts mirror the figure, as well as his shadow. Nice composition, too, with the empty courtyard in front. Well done. Fav

I love this! It's a super candid! I like all the additional detail too. It conveys to me the isolation of the smoker - clearly not a great advert for smoking! Fav!

I like how his upright figure mirrors the side of the building lines and his shadow parallels the front of the building. It it's supposed to be street shot, and it is, but I am drawn to the lines, too.

Ahhh..I thought it was the cold that was making that foggy look..but I get it now. Was in a parking lot yesterday...and the whole parking lot smelled of smoke. I think the employees go out there to smoke (it was a WalMart store) Nice candid capture.

That so used to be me! When children drew a portrait of me my handbag was always there as I couldn't be separated from my weeds! Up to 40 a day so I shouldn't have been surprised to have a coronary aged 43! But I was! Still not a single one since the so you wouldn't find me out there!

yes. I had a professor once you said that nicotine was in between heroin and cocaine in the difficulty of quitting. I quit myself many years ago. It is a horrible addiction. It took me about a year with gum nicorette gum and prayer and smoking about 3 cigarettes a day
