Not much time for photography today, especially as my husband was with me, he did not have gloves, we were not really downtown to take photos, and he is not always the most patient with me when I have my camera. I managed a quick shot of the bean, not the best.
For those of you who do not know, this sculpture is in Millennium Park in Chicago. It was created by the sculptor Anish Kapoor and is called Cloud Gate, but is more commonly known to Chicagoans as the bean.
The Bean seems to work well in b&w. I've got a few from around 2 years ago. great capture Andie. I don't see you in the reflection, at least it's not obvious.
@ukandie1 Ha, no wonder I didn't recognize you.
I'm currently planning on driving to Aurora on Sunday to see JT's exhibit. I haven't heard back from her yet on the address of where it's at.
Wonderful reflections... We have a shot of my son near the bean from a few years ago. What... A cold husband telling you to hurry up?? ;). Unheard of! 😊
Wonderful shot of The Bean! This sculpture appeared in Chicago after I left Illinois, and one of these days I will get there to see it. I love all the reflections and interesting distortions it gives.
