Not the shot I intended to post for the nature theme, but after spending an enjoyable afternoon downtown and on the lakefront with my camera I met up with my daughter for dinner. We discussed her upcoming semester abroad in London and her plans to visit friends in Paris and Brussels, and the other countries she would like to visit. To come home to the news about what has happened in Paris is very unsettling, and so very tragic, but there is always sunshine among the clouds, and life must go on! My thoughts go out to everyone in the magical city of Paris!
What a sparkling shot, super in b&w. The curve of the shoreline is divine. So exciting for your daughter... London is perfect for these kids at their age. Here's hoping she has a tremendous semester.
@taffy Sorry for the tardy reply. Things are good here, just been hectic leading up to the holidays, and with some unexpected family health concerns that turned out to be ok in the end. I shall be back posting for the new year. Hope you had a great Christmas and best wished for the New Year. Any time you fancy some company out and about with the camera let me know.
Hi Andie -- good to know things are on looking better. I'm around, so I'd definitely be up for a photo walk. I haven't had my camera out for 2 weeks -- need some inspiration and motivation quite badly.
