Last Monday on Instagram I posted a shot of shadows and a door knob, it did not work as a color shot so I did not post it here, but it got me thinking about a mini project 'Mundane Mondays'!!!. I took this shot yesterday, as I wondered through Navy Pier, an attraction in Chicago where locals do not go (it is a tourist spot), and spotted this colorful chair and wall hidden away behind a partial very blank and very white wall. I loved how out of place it seemed!
Love that blue/green. The paint scraping on the skirting is also interesting. How many chairs did that take? Or was it another piece of furniture? Who's sat on the chair? This is a really intriguing shot of social culture and history.
