this was a moment I caught yesterday at the beach (another one like I shared yesterday but I had more time to get ready for this shot)
The reason I love this so much is my husband enjoys the beach it's his happy place.
He has been battling a blood cancer for a few years now and this past year in particular the end of this year has been really hard.. we don't know how much longer he has but he is surrounded by people who love him and we hope and pray for a lot longer than it appears at the moment.
I am grateful for each day we get to share with each other so these kind of moments count.
This is a wonderful image with dad, son and dog all in a special moment so well captured by you. I hope your husband is feeling well this week and you have many more enjoyable moments together.
@danette my husband has multiple myeloma was known as bone marrow cancer...it's gone out of the blood/marrow into the tissue causing plasmacytomas lots of them. It's so hard to watch someone you love fade away from who they were. For now I am grateful for each day we have together.
A wonderful capture of part of your family. The ocean/beach is my happy place too. It is so difficult to watch a loved one struggle and feel helpless. Make the most of each day...my thoughts are with you.
