@mcsiegle challenged me to set up a still life this week. 5 objects. I thought about why I never ever set up a still life indoor shot and realised it's due to the bother of setting up lighting. As I started breakfast, I noticed that sun was streaming in and casting a lovely light on my Christmas flowers, with an interesting shadow onto the wall behind. Too good an opportunity to miss! It's a first attempt - hopefully a better one will emerge during the course of the week. Any tips welcomed!
@bruni@koalagardens@seattlite thankyou - of all my tries this week, I think I like the way the way the light catches on the flowers best of all my shots. Maybe I'll try again before they go completely over...
