I'm not sure this counts as an architectural pic with an interesting POV (get pushed challenge this week), but I was intrigued by juxtaposing man's striving to build a structure to reach to the heavens with the trees reaching for the sun.
Yes, I do think it qualifies imho! Just my 2 cents worth- I would have put a little less vignette. I think it overpowers the top portion of the picture- but again, that is more subjective. I love the contrast that you captured between the steeple (which in reaching to the sky cause you to look upward) and the tree (which naturally reaches upward). A very thoughtful and beautiful picture.
The dominant silhouette with the tiny cross, along with the centralized light give the image a more spooky feel. I the light was beaming in, it could be coming from the heavens. Either way is is a very effective B&W.
