I've been challenging myself to use the pin hole and zone plate "lens" in my lensbaby. I've been avoiding it because I think they always look terrible. Critiques are most welcome.

I don't know anything about the lensbaby, but I do like this photograph - I like the lighting and composition.

I like the feel this has. I think the yellow is a bit bright for the overall tone of the image, but like the composition quite a bit.

Really like the vintage feel of the image and agree with Taffy. A more subdued yellow might give you an even more classic look. Regardless, though, your use of the lensbaby is looking great.

Yes, the yellow doesn't seem to fit for me either with the darker object in the background and the overall fuzzy appearance. Maybe a candidate for black and white?
