It was such a great weather to photograph, with picturesque clouds and all the golden steeples and domes in the city glowing against the blue sky. Too bad I couldn't just leave the kids with someone and go on a photo walk. But I squeezed in this shot of the "Blood Church" - the memorial cathedral built on the spot of the assassination of the Russian Tsar Alexander Il. Haha, lovely shot and bonus points for getting it with kids in tow... I often have to take shots with my baby in the Ergo, and it makes for a tough focus when he wiggles and squeals.
@roulin Вас не перехитрить! Почти против солнца, купола вытащенны кое-как потом уже в обработке, а то почти силуэты были, или небо засвеченное. Но облако не хотелось упускать. Спасибо!
@roulin О брекетинг! Это звучит для меня просто как незнакомый язык. В принципе, понятно, что это такое, но еще никогда не пробовала и не знаю, как это делается. А установка HDR в фотоаппарате не то же делает, в принципе?
@vera365 не вполне уверен насчет того, как HDR реализован в Вашей модели, но вряд ли через брекетинг. Прием простой, но требует надежной фиксации аппарата, в принципе на короткой выдержке и с рук можно, если не дрожат ))
Those clouds are spectacular and combined with those glorious domes they give the image a magical feel. I admired the clouds in St Petersburg on many occasions -- are they truly more spectacular than in most places of the world???
@jyokota Thank you! I think the clouds are different, the whole feeling of the sky is different - at least for me. Bigger, lower, wider, closer to you. It could have something to do with the location of the city, and all that water surrounding it, but I am not sure. I just love photographing them!
